About
Description
- Challenging modpack.
- Hard hitting enemies, some are more intimidating than others.
- Staying alive until you find good gear and a way to increase max health with relative ease is a struggle.
- Possibility to reclaim your gear after death. However, you suffer increasingly heavy consequenses as you proggress.
- Heavy RPG elements. Leveling is not too grindy if you know what you are doing.
- Extensive quest trees will give guidance to complete the modpack but should not hold your hand too much.
- Survival, base building, tech, exploration, new dimensions and magic all combined.
- Not all locations are safe for building a base.
- Rebalanced mods, experience with your familiar strategies might vary. e.g. Lycanites mobs config completely overhauled.
- Long modpack. Time to complete is at least one month, co-op done efficiently will cut a lot of time.
- Excellent final boss.
Important:
Hit "<" to open the quest tree.
Make absolutely certain that SoS_integrations resourcepack is enabled or you will have miserable time. This is important for servers too, for some reason players might not always see all relevant stats on quipment, which is unfortunate. Regardless, it will work if the resourcepack is enabled.
For servers, delete the following clientside mods or the server will crash: BetterF3, camoucreeper, and totaldarkness.
Crashes on startup are a feature, try again and it should work. When joining a server the game looks like it is stuck joining but do not touch anything or it will crash, might take 5 minutes!
This modpack will be heavy to run eventually. Allocate at least 8GB of RAM. Preferrably 10-12GB but the performance will fall anyway when you have a lot of stuff in your base. Lowest spec CPU tested was Ryzen 2600X and it did run alright but you can expect 20 fps or so near your base.
Not so important:
The default UI is made for 1080p monitors and will be a little wonky for 1440p and you might have to do some reconfiguration.
Not all keys are bound, but the most important ones should be by default.
Intended to be played at hard difficulty, but you can do lower if you are a sissy. Hardcore is only for absolute minechads and likely impossible.
No shaders at least for now. For newer version than 1.16? Likely no.
This is my first pack and it still has some jank and issues and I will try to sort them out when I have time. If nothing became absolutely broken while playtesting, the modpack is completeable in its current state and fairly stable. I would be glad if you could report bugs so I could try to fix them if I have time to do so.
