Description
SUPERMASSIVE is a new spin on the classic Minecraft progression. Rather than extending the lifespan of a playthrough by adding more and more compounding tech trees and somewhat arbitrary achievements, I wanted to extend it in what I felt was a more natural and rewarding way.
Big Globe & Distant Horizons!
Many of you have seen the youtube videos of people flying around these massive, beautiful worlds full of super tall mountains and valleys. I always thought it looked great, but how would it actually be to play in? Turns out, it's kinda slow. Really slow, actually. Something it seems to me that a lot of people don't know, is that Big Globe was absolutely meant to be played, rather than just looked at. It adds a small amount of very wide reaching new items, that can absolutely transform the way you explore, like the Rope Anchor, or Slingshots.
Immersive Aircraft!
Ultimately, I couldn't get over how long it took to just get from one place to another, and I thought that waypoints would be too... easy. So, I tried Immersive Aircraft (by Luke10000) and everything opened up. It's difficult to understate how well these aircrafts fit into a massive world like this.
...and more!
I've also included a veritable kitchen sink of quality of life mods. Inventory Sorter (kyrptonaught), Xaero's Minimap and World Map (xaero96), the Essential Mod (SparkUniverse), and many more!
There are two shaders included in the pack, Complementary Unbound, and an in-development version of Bliss, with Distant Horizons support.(Complementary also suppports DH)
I've custom tweaked the settings to minimize issues, while maximizing visuals and performance. Because it isn't the full release of Bliss, it's possible you may encounter visual bugs or glitches. Please do not send bug reports to XOnk for shader issues you might find in this modpack, as it is technically unsupported. Thank you.
