Description
(already a very optimized modpack dont use optifine or add any other performance enhancing mods or it will certainly crash- or they will be redundant- pls excuse the shitty thumbnail i aint making one so pls deal with it.) TFC reimagined to be more in depth and realistic- without any machinery (apart from base tfc watermills and crankshafts and stuff) or overly unrealistic tech. focuses on the more primitive actual survival side of TFC rather than far fetched machinery and industrialization. there are features such as a new medical system featuring adrenaline and its appropriate aftershock. aswell as broken legs, bleeding, infections- no not a zombie virus, just smth that makes ur health trickle down over time until it goes away by itself or you treat it- aswell as other stuff. u can heal early game via primitive bandages. just type up medicine in JEI and ur alg from there.
also ambiental 2. obviously. a body temp mod is necessary. aswell as a multitude of ambient sounds from TFC matmos to make the world seem more alive- like birdsong, flowing rivers, wind, and other stuff. also more in depth metallurgy, muskets and flintlocks, aswell as other littleish mods like that. And firmalife, obviously. also smth probably not as common to go with it: TFC Gourmet- it adds a bunch of dishes and stuff from different cultures. I dont rlly like FD for TFC cus it really doesnt have the right aesthetic. and TFC hot or not: u will get jumpscared by getting ur hands seared off so yeah. thats probably all that NEEDS to be mentioned so u dont kill yourself within the first half hour. go look at the mod list in game if yw more. theres like 100+ mods made for tfc in this modpack. so yeah. the stuff mentioned here is absolutely nothing compared to the amount of content ingame so go have a look I guess. oh and getting lumber is different u needa make wood supports via debarking and right clicking logs with an axe and then right click them with a saw cus the normal way to get lumber is a bit unbalanced tbh. aaaand u needa purify water now aswell. and making tools is different aswell requiring u to- (this is in order to get full durability but early game u simply use plant string and the tool head and stick. still need to make the appropiate handles early game tho.) -make rivets and handles and glue as soon as u can otherwise ur tools will start with less than half durability.
Think of this modpack as hardrock but focused on a pure cosy survival experience without any STUPIDLY far fetched stuff like making rockets and casually going to Venus- so no create or immersive engineering. if thats not what ur after then use another modpack, or simply add it in yourself. made for people who dont have a NASA pc. (slight arachnophobia warning due to procedural and slightly more realistic spider models. and they can move at literally any angle.)
