About
Description
"We have tried everything, the foundation had failed humanity, it all went loose, the dreaded Day had broken, we were not prepared, good luck on surviving".
-Yours truly, O5-1
Thank You, to all who played the Lite Edition, I am discontuining, it as I cannot manage two editions at the same time
This is a post-apocalyptic Modpack, but it's different. Instead of zombies, it revolves around a solar singularity apocalypse phenomenon from the SCP Universe (SCP-001 when the day breaks) and the infamous SCP virus, the Flesh That Hates, as seen in SCP-610. This infects mobs and turns blocks into flesh, and it is hostile towards players. Beware. However, this modpack had prepared you with guns (Vic's Pointblank), create tech, and vehicle mods. So you still have a fair chance to fight back against the virus. Moreover, the current lore is that the XK end-of-the-world scenario had occurred, and the SCP Foundation lost control, unable to regain it, leading to the collapse of the foundation and humanity's loss of protection.
How is Lite Different?
The lite edition of the modpack is more optimized for low-end pc, which cannot handle the 100 mods in the regular edition. For instance, terrain gen, animations, immersion mods and shaders are removed to boost performance. However, the core feature is left behind to give the experience of the WTFB. Such as guns, the 2 Apocalypse mods, tech mods and transportation mods. Moreover, this modpack comes with optimization mods, such as Modern Fix, which reduces memory usage and boosts performance. Finally, I will do my best to keep this modpack under 50 mods for smooth but also immersive experiences
Caveats for the lite edition
- Content updates might become rarer due to performance optimization. But regular mod updates would still occur.
- If you switched to the Lite edition, but also wanted to port your world from the Regular edition. The world might potentially, corrupted if you are playing on versions 1.5 or above. As there were more terrain gen mods, which the Lite ones do not have. But if you are brave, the tutorial on how to do it is below. Overall, have fun with this
