About

Description

A fantasy modpack that is great for use with friends! Depending on the number of downloads, we may create a curated modpack for individuals who wish to run a server with these mods. DISCLAIMER: We do not own any of the mods in this modpack; it's simply a collection of mods that are relatively fantasy-themed.

Currently Known Issues:

  • ferrite core not working properly (modpack gives you a ram usage warning when opening it when it shouldn't)
  • Sometimes structures from different structure packs collide with each other

Before reading the overview, I would also recommend looking up the wikis of any of the mods to get more information on them.

Here's a quick overlook of the fantasy elements the modpack introduces:

Mods like EMF/ETF add better entity models/textures to the game along with fresh animations to make the behaviors better (Fresh moves is also included to make fellow players fit in with all the other entities). We also added 2 options for loading backgrounds (regular and fantasy) to make the experience feel more immersive. There's also Aimz added as a final resource pack for anyone who likes the better crosshair.

Create mod is added because even though it doesn't quite fit into the aesthetic, it's a fan favorite due to all of the cool machines and other contraptions you can make with it. We've also added Valkyrien Skies (and Eureka) for flying (and aquatic) vehicles because who doesn't want to make a flying ship you can use to fight the dragons from ice and fire (because what fantasy modpack doesn't have dragons?). Ice and fire has (you guessed it) ice and fire dragons as well as the very rare lightning dragon. You can fight the dragons, steal from their nests, and even get eggs from them to have one of your own that you can ride!

Most mods from someaddon are performance mods to make the modpack run smoother, apart from Farsight, which lets you have a bigger render distance than what the server has it set to. Modernfix is another performance mod, often seen essential for modpacks along with radium (a fork of lithium), and there's also embeddium, which helps with performance and is also essential for the shaders (hence why Oculus is in the modpack). Xaero's minimap and map are mods that allow you to, well, have a map and minimap of your world accessible to you at all times. Open parties and claims is an add-on to that which allows you to claim land so others can't use it, as well as make parties to allow people to use your land, and makes it easier to see each other on the (mini)map.

All Lupin mods are structure mods, as well as yungnickyoung mods, towns and towers, when dungeons arise, explorify, and dungeons enhanced. Terralith (along with Terrablender) reworks the terrain generation, and multiple mods add new structures and biomes/terrain generation to the Nether and End dimensions.

I won't list them, but several mods are included that enhance quality of life, including reworked sound, double-door support, mouse/menu enhancements, and player model add-ons and reworks. There's also sophisticated backpacks, which adds backpacks to the game with room for add-ons that make your life a little easier, not necessarily a QOL mod, but still nice to have.

Wrapping up the bigger mods, of course, you can't have fantasy without magic either. There are 3 main magic mods: Irons Spells n spellbooks, which is a charm/spellbook oriented magic mod, Blood magic, which is based on rituals and celestial bodies, and Occulitism, which is also focused on rituals and also the concept of an alternate reality.

Finishing off, there are tons of mods that enhance the overall 'fantasy' experience, such as fantasy armor (which adds fantasy armor), fantasy weapons (fantasy weapons), medieval music (adds more fantastically themed music for in-game), and medieval paintings (which, you guessed it, adds medieval paintings).

There are a few more mods, but I wouldn't want to spoil everything, would I? For those curious about the rest of the mods, or want to look more into the ones I already listed, I would recommend checking the mod list and searching up their wikis for any you're curious about.

I hope all of you adventurers have fun with this modpack, and feel free to give feedback for the modpack, we'd love to hear it so we can improve it anyway we can!
