The Ancient World

This is a work in progress modpack attempting to make a 1.16.5 version of RLCraft. It adds almost all the same mods and attempts to recreate the experience.

Currently, one of the biggest things missing from the pack is Lycanite Mobs, since it hasn't been updated to 1.16. As soon as It's updated I will be adding it to the pack! Along with a Reskillable Port and a Spartan and Fire port I'm currently working on.

EDIT: Lycanite Mobs for 1.16.5 BETA has been added!

NOTE - Do not add Scaling Health to the pack, this causes a crash when a creeper explodes, looking into this. 

Getting Started - READ ME BEFORE BEGINNING!

- Press H to view your health, it gives you some important information. Helmets are super important, unless you like to get headshot instakilled. 

- Can't punch trees, blocks require their tools for harvest (except weak blocks like dirt, gravel, etc), otherwise won't drop anything

- After you spawn, grab some loose rocks, they'll be lying on the ground. 

- Break leaves until you get a stick!

- Go find some gravel. Mine until you get some flint. 

- Find some stone, and right click with your flint, this will give you a flint shard. Use this flint shard and the stick to make yourself a flint knife. 

- Use the flint knife to cut grass and make plant string! 

- Proceed to make a flint axe, flint pickaxe, and other tools. 

- Sneak while cutting down a tree to fell the whole tree!

- To drink water, Shift + Right Click on a water source block. 

- 3 wool makes a sleeping bag, won't set spawn

- Backpacks are great. Use them!

-Ultimine is included, use at your pleasure!

- Stay far away from dragons at the beginning. Far far away. 

- This modpack is hard. By default, I have temperature and stamina turned off. (Stamina wasn't a part of RLCRaft and temperature seems to be a bit bugged, I'm looking for an alternative)

- Immersive Portals is included. This may causes artifacting with Optifine shaderpacks and such. If this is bothering you, either 1) Disable Immersive Portals, or 2) Disable Optifine. 

- Be careful with automatically updating Antique Atlas through the Curseforge launcher, the newest version is either Forge or Fabric, and the system likes to update to the fabric version. 

• OPTIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS:  I'd personally recommend the use of Optifine (USE E3 ONLY, F4 IS BROKEN AND WILL CRASH) (OptiFine_1.16.5_HD_U_G7) (make sure it's the one for 1.16.5) and some shaders if your system can handle them to bring out the best with this modpack and Minecraft. Personally recommend Sildur's Shaders, but feel free to use whatever one you want!
