The Convex

The Convex is a Minecraft 1.7.10 modpack that is designed to be challenging for experienced mod-players. It is also made so that every mod has a purpose in advancing to the late game. Resources are much harder to come by, and early game progression is much slower.

Here are some specific changes:

• Vanilla tools have been disabled (craftable, but unusable) to force the player to use Tinkers' Construct tools or energy-powered tools.
• Ways to acquire iron have been reduced, with highly creative solutions taking precedence over simple, standard solutions.
• All ore generation has been reduced, making mods such as AgriCraft and Forestry which allow for the creation of raw resources more viable.
