No one remembers when the sun first failed.

The seasons stopped changing. Snow buried the roads, oceans froze at their edges, and the last great cities fell silent beneath the storm. You are one of the few who survived — not a hero, not chosen, just someone stubborn enough to keep moving.

You were once a train conductor and awaken cold, disoriented inside the groaning timbers of an ancient, abandoned windmill, your fragile sanctuary against the howling gale. With only a scant handful of supplies rattling in your worn backpack, every decision counts.

Rumors speak of abandoned camps, shattered machines still humming beneath the ice, and ancient structures that may hold the secret to surviving… or ending… the endless winter. Some say the cold itself is unnatural. Others claim something deep below the world is waking.

With only what you can scavenge, you must explore frozen wilderness, rebuild lost technology, grow food in hostile conditions, and carve out a refuge against the dark and the cold. Whether you uncover the truth behind the winter or simply build a life within it is up to you.

Venture through bleak landscapes and dangerous caves while facing new creatures, environmental threats, and survival challenges. The pack enhances exploration with new structures, campsites, mapping tools, and world details, while mods like Create and Farmer’s Delight expand automation, food, and long-term base building.

RPG-style HUD elements, stamina/energy, thirst, temperature systems, and improved inventory/UI features deepen immersion, while performance optimizations keep gameplay smooth.
