The Great Horizon Modpack adds a wide variety of mods to improve your Minecraft experience this includes:

Four new dimensions to explore and Concore including twilight forest, Blue skies, Atum 2: Return of the sands and The abyss 2.

Incudes Thermal foundation with accompanying mods.

Applied Energistics 2 and other accompanying mods are included to give you an added level of complexity to your builds.

Several customization packs including furniture, windows, roof designs and more give you the extra detail in and around your builds.

Yungs better caves, dungeons, mineshafts and strongholds give you more of a challenge when exploring the deeps.
