The House Pack

This modpack is centered on a balance between magic and technology. It has mods like Thaumcraft and Thermal Expansion (and foundation, expansion and cultivation) in the same pack. Additionally, it has a few lesser-known technology mods such as Pneumaticcraft and others, so players may find themselves with new experiences, or old ones depending on what they have played in the past. It even contains Doom Like Dungeons, so it has something for everybody. Although it has variety, it is made specifically with performance in mind, and should run well on the average computer. 

This pack is recommended for single player and small servers, although larger servers are possible with the right modifications via modtweaker, crafttweaker2, and the config file. I plan on updating it regularly as it was made specifically to share with my friends, who have those varying interests. If an update adds a major mod and/or breaks previous worlds, I will either not release it or alert you in the changelog.
