Description

DEAR MOD AUTHORS:

I did not go through every single one of the 104 mods in this pack to check if all the little libraries and tweaks and addons are 'allowed' to be in modpacks, so instead, if you have a problem with your mod being in this modpack, private message me on curseforge (if thats even still a thing) and I'll try to have an eye on my messages, or

message my Discord alt account at celestiallady09, or celestiallady09#8481.  I'll try to get back to you, and most likely remove your mod from the pack.

I cannot guarantee I will not recommend users use your mod with the modpack afterwards, however.

Additionally, the Curseforge launcher (as well as, I'm guessing, many others) automatically credits and links to installed mods, but if you need a list of the mods outside of launchers, you contact me as well.

DEAR USERS:

This modpack is designed to be modified, with many libraries it does not technically need, and without Optifine by default.  Install Optifine if you want your game to run.

Also, this mod comes with HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod (extended edition) even though it doesn't technically need it, so uninstall that if you need the performance or just don't want it.

Same goes for Biomes O' Plenty, RTG, Doggy Talents, EnderIO, and Jurassic World (reborn).  On a similar note, if you are insane or a Norse myth, you may want to add Tough As Nails.

-=DISCLAIMER=-

I am not IcyCaress, I am not IGP, this is my attempt at emulating and improving a modpack which feels as theirs seems, and I'm also not a perfect being.

-=PERFORMANCE WARNING=-

This Modpack has 103 mods, at least a third of which are relatively large.  USE OPTIFINE YOU FOOL

This is my personal modpack based off of the mods which IGP and IcyCaress use in these youtube series'.

IGP's Youtube Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVxH6E2fftrexumdk8lynStNc2NZrF_Mh

Oh, yeah, that's the other thing.

This isn't just an attempt at emulating their mods.  Basically, from what I can tell, Icy and IGP try to turn the game into a horror game, while this modpack attempts to modify minecraft to give it a horror-esque theme, but also make it actually survivable.

You will probably find that this modpack is ludicrously hard, but you will also find that I've tried to give you some opportunities to fight back.  MrCrayfish's gun mod is present, since it felt like a decent middle-ground (for facing the eldritch horrors) between vanilla and techguns.  You may also find many ores, and Netherite, in the nether, though you may find some other (minor) threats as well.  Backpacks may help you significantly, HBM's NTM, EnderIO, and Twilight Forest (among other mods) may add significantly more powerful equipment, doggy talents will allow dogs to respawn at a dog bed, Jurassic World adds tameable dinosaurs if I remember correctly, Roguelike Dungeons adds many potential (partially-safe) temporary safehouses  or semi-permanant outposts, HBM's NTM adds more Obsidian blocks (including ones movable by pistons), ETC.  Basically, if you think about what you're doing (and do it very, VERY cautiously) you may actually be able to start thriving as well as surviving - especially considering little things such as how (most) modded enemies cannot be infected by Parasites, and things like mutants may even be artificially created to be unleashed upon parasites.

You can look through the modlist if you really want to be prepared for everything (recommend curse launcher or similar), but the primary mods you should prepare for (or utilize) include (but are not limited to):
Special AI

The Midnight

Scape and Run: Parasites

The Twilight Forest

Zombie Awareness

Weather, Storms & Tornadoes

Journeymap

Backpacked (Mrcrayfish's Backpack Mod)

Tinkerer's Workshop (+Construct Armory)

Doggy Talents (primarily useful for dog respawning)

Iron Chests + Furnaces

Harcore Darkness (no minimum light level)

Ice and Fire: Dragons

EnderIO

Carry On (carry tile entities)

AI Improvements

AbyssalCraft

Aliens Vs Predator (primarily adds the xenomorph species)

Mutant Beasts

Both Nether Metals and Netherending Ores (ore spawns in nether)

MrCrayfish's Gun Mod (high-quality gun mod which isn't absurdly OP)

Nature's Compass (find biomes)

SCP Lockdown (SCPs)

Roguelike Dungeons

RTG (Realistic Terrain Generation)

Overloaded Armor Bar (Armor bar for better than diamond)

Macaw's <Everything> (Macaw's Doors, Macaw's Roofs, Macaw's Bridges, ETC)

Just Enough Items, Dimensions, and Resources (+Jade/HWYLA)

& More

This work is under a Creative Commons 4.0 License through Curseforge, meaning you can use it's likeness anywhere else as long as you do not prevent others from doing the same (and, if memory serves, you cannot claim it as your own original work).  I request that you link to or credit this modpack if doing something like reuploading it, though you are not required to do so by any means, legal or Curseforge's ToS/Rules/Policy.  Similarly, I request (though do not require) that you do not reupload this for no reason - for instance, reuploading to Modrinth is fine since I don't plan to do that, but reuploading the same pack version to Curseforge isn't cool, especially if you pass it off as your own.  Once again, can't stop you, not a legal or Curseforge requirement, but I humbly request that you do not.
