The World of Middle-Earth awaits you; choose your fate.
The Lord of the Rings mod provides a new world to explore which can be accessed by 1) crafting a golden ring with 8 gold nuggets and tossing it in fire or lava OR 2) setting your world type to "Middle-Earth"
The world of Middle-Earth features a bunch of new biomes, NPC Factions, new structures, a questing system, new foods, a currency system, weapons and armor, building blocks and a crafting system where certain items can only be crafted on a faction-specific crafting table, which in turn can only be accessed if you are friendly to that faction. You can also hire units as long as your reputation with a faction is high enough.
This modpack is relatively lightweight meaning most PCs should be able to run it. The biggest focus is the Lord of the Rings mod, but there's also a selection of other mods which allow you to spend your entire survival adventure in the Middle-Earth dimension.
