IMPORTANT- IF PLAYING SINGLEPLAYER YOU MUST REMOVE THE MUSIC MAKER MOD FOR SOME TIME AS THE MOD INTERFERES WITH THE LOOT TABLES OF THREE IMPORTANT EYES NEEDED TO UNLOCK THE END. YOU CAN ADD IT BACK AFTER GETTING THESE EYES

The Mountain Path is a 1.16.5 forge modpack focused on Exploration, Dimensions, Technology and Magic.

It is a medium-sized pack with multiplayer in mind- encouraging group server events through making access to different dimensions more difficult. 

WHAT MAKES THIS STAND OUT?

This modpack is loosely quest-based. You start out with only half your health, but can slowly rebuild back to full hp and far past it by exploring or completing quests. Most mods either improve minecraft lore or are fun. For example, Better Portals and End Remastered provide more satisfying and immersive ways to get to the End and Nether. The Abyss comes with a story line of its own that weaves into it well. If you want to create a legendary minecraft storyline this might be the pack to do it.

It's also got fun mods- music maker, minecolonies, cars, plains and painting add something to mix things up and keep the pack afloat.
There are a couple of bosses as well, from Greek Fantasy, The Abyss and Ratlantis. 

The pack has a number of tech and magic mods, allowing you to create things like moving trains and dark rituals in Minecraft. The pack doesn't lean too heavily into this, as its more of a beginner pack, but it contains Astral Sorcery, Enigmatic Legacy, Create, and Immersive Engineering. 

SUGGESTIONS

Optifine is not included in the pack but is a good mod to add for performance improvements

You might want to remove the car and plane mods if playing singleplayer, as their is a bug that crashes the game in those mods
