Description
Origin War
Origin War is a dark fantasy faction-war modpack built around Hunters, Werewolves, Vampires, magic, monsters, territory, and survival.
This is not a simple kitchen-sink fantasy pack. Origin War is being shaped into one connected war setting where weapons, armor, creatures, dungeons, magic, economy, structures, and progression all serve the larger conflict.
Everything must either serve the war, answer to the war, or stay out of the war.
Choose Your Side
Hunters build civilization, defend settlements, recruit guards, fund towns, and hold the line against supernatural threats.
Werewolves claim the wild, grow primal territory, empower Den Hearts, call guardians, and fight as packs.
Vampires command blood, courts, servants, corruption, forbidden authority, and the politics of immortality.
Each faction is meant to feel different, not only in combat, but in how it grows, survives, and controls the world.
The Official Server Experience
This CurseForge pack is the public base pack for Origin War. It can be played on its own, but it is primarily designed around the official Origin War server.
The official server uses an additional required custom mod called OriginWar, distributed through our Discord. That custom mod is not included directly in this CurseForge pack.
With the custom OriginWar mod installed, the official server gains systems such as:
- Faction law
- Village territory
- Raid visibility
- Faction banks
- Hunter defender systems
- Werewolf Den Hearts
- Vampire Blood Infusion
- Managed faction creatures
- Public war ledgers
- Settlement progression
- Server-specific war mechanics
The base pack gives you the world.
The official server gives that world its law.
A Living War World
Origin War is being actively shaped around one idea:
The server rules should become part of the world.
Territory should matter.
Villages should matter.
Faction money should matter.
Weapons and armor should have identity.
Mobs should belong to someone.
War should leave records.
Power should have consequences.
This modpack is the foundation for that world.
