A light, automation-focussed and highly balanced modpack -- just the way I like it
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.

Description
Version 4 of this mod updates to Minecraft 1.20.1.
This lite modpack is tightly focussed on how I, personally, like to play modded Minecraft. The major industrial mods contain the machines that I like to use to automate my base. I only include the storage mods that I prefer (Refined Storage, Storage Drawers and Iron Chests). I've included a couple of environmental mods that fill the worlds with things to explore (Quark, Traverse). And finally, there is a useful collection of quality of life mods.
There are also a bunch of builder-oriented mods in the pack. I'm not the best builder out there, but I know it's something I want to get better at. But, sorry, Chisels and Bits isn't here (you monster).
Everything in this modpack has been tuned to my preference. Some recipes are easier, many are more difficult, a fair number have been fixed, and a few removed. In particular, I've removed many OP tools and gadgets, like anything that provides creative flight. I like flying with an elytra, and, therefore, don't see the need to have any more powerful than that.
Now, because I've got my way of doing things, there are major mods in this pack that I normally only use a couple of blocks or tools from, but are therefore available to anyone who wishes to exploit them further:
- Botania
- EnderIO
- Immersive Engineering
- Industrial Foregoing
- Tinkers Construct
- Thermal Expansion
I'd like to acknowledge the SnorshCraft modpack that got me started with modded Minecraft. Serafina and Byteford have my undying thanks for that. SnorshCraft was a project of the LoadingReadyRun community. If you don't know LoadingReadyRun, do yourself a favour and check them out (I'm in no way affiliated with them, I'm just a long-time fan):
