About

Description

The Void Train: Daedalus is a modpack with a linear progression system through Game Stages.

Many major mods are locked behind quest progression, meaning much more powerful tech mods like Mekanism, or advanced magic mods like Mystical Agriculture, require you to first make progress towards early game mods instead.

The pack splits these progressions into two catagories, the Tech mod stages, and the Magic mod Eras.

The Tech progression starts with Create, makes its way to Immersive Engineering to obtain brass and steel, then towards Industrial Foregoing to obtain plastic and higher tier machines.
Finally at the end of the Tech Tree is Mekanism and Applied Energistics.

The Magic progression starts with Botania, and uses that for the most part to make your way through the eras to Terrasteel, unlocking Ars Nouveau once you get there. Then further to the Elven portal with its many resources, to defeating the Gaia Guardian finally allowing you to start Mystical Agriculture at the end of it all, a mod which has also been dramatically changed to be more difficult to farm more commonly used materials.

With some common use mods like Spice of Life: Onion and several mods that add new food to help you out.
That, along with some neat early game storage solutions with Sophisticated storage, and Storage Drawers to help make early game storage a breeze.
