Description

What is Totally Optimized?

Totally Optimized is a lightweight Fabric/Neoforge performance modpack designed for one purpose — maximum FPS and smooth gameplay on any system. No bloat, no unnecessary mods — just pure optimization. Has about half the mods compared to bigger modpacks while performing the same or better. Whether you’re running Minecraft on a low-end laptop or a high-end rig, this pack squeezes every bit of performance from your setup.

Fabric versions have the benefit of supporting Voxy, a LOD mod that greatly increases render distance with essentially no performance drop. Voxy is much more effective that Distant Horizons, while compatible with (Neo)Forge, I have decided not to include due to a rather large performance drop on lower end systems. ⸻

Key Features • Massive FPS boost compared to vanilla • Smoother world loading and faster chunk generation • Lightweight — installs fast, starts fast, runs fast • Perfect for vanilla+, SMP, or performance-focused players

  • Idle performance with mods disabled, 1.21.3
Idle performance with mods disabled, 1.21.3 16 chunk render distance, fast graphics. Higher averages and maximums, higher overall stuttering. Effect would be more visible if the framerate was not capped at 90 fps. Expect better results on lower-end hardware
  • Idle performance with mods enabled, 1.21.3
Idle performance with mods enabled, 1.21.3 16 chunk render distance, fast graphics, mods configured as in the available file
  • Performance when idle, no mods, 1.21.6
Performance when idle, no mods, 1.21.6 Even while average, relatively inconsistent performance. 16 chunk render distance, fast graphics
  • Idle performance with mods, 1.21.6
Idle performance with mods, 1.21.6 Much lower variability, about half the TPS and FPS averages of vanilla. 16 chunk render distance, fast graphics
