Description
This is an early experimental version so expect some bugs and future balance changes. Please feel free to report anything weird and feel free to suggest anything.
Also I'm looking for people who can do art/modelling and are willing to help with the development of the pack.

Trains&Factories is an expert tech themed modpack. Its core mods: Create, Immersive engineering, Thermal Expansion, Industrial Foregoing and Mekanism.
Gimmicks:
1. No magic mods and no annoying crafting mechanics which would require automation.
2. Extremely limited wireless item, fluid and energy transfer. As the theme of modpack is to build factories, it is necessary to have players use trains for transportation. To help with that, Create fluid range transfer and tank capacity has been buffed.
3. Energy overhaul. The energy generation system has been completely overhauled. Many energy options have been made a lot more attractive, such as C&A alternators or IE kinetic dynamos. As you progress and find a need to transfer energy, you'll find that Lava is a mid tier energy source with great power density. As you get further, you'll be able to utilize oil distillation for even denser refined fuel. And you will be needing strong energy system to support more costly machines.
4. Multiblocks. The pack uses Multiblocked mod which provide very strong tools to make custom multiblocks with completely custom recipes, and you'll have to make and use those multiblocks.
5. Faster start. This pack is designed with the idea that you want to get to building factory and resource automatization, so early game is made more convenient for that. You start with a veinminer and can unlock RS storage very quickly, with unlocking autocrafting by the time you get to the second half of Create's progress. It also gives you early options for powered tools like fluxbore and building gadgets.
6. Unique resource generation mechanics. No more magic flowers of everything, bees or sieving gravel for 12 different metals. While you will need a gigantic amount of resources, their production has been designed from scratch. While some rare stuff can be obtained from drilling with IF or multiblock drill or pumped from oceans and sieved, most of the metals and gems will have to be processed from Corundum Crystals which will come from custom recipes requiring you to obtain and automate multiple crops, monsters and fluids.
The pack is still under development so mod suggestions, but reports and other suggestions are welcome
