Trains Flames and Caves

Welcome to Trains Flames and Caves, a modpack that will ignite your senses and take you on a journey like no other! Your goal is to explore mysterious caves, overcome fiery trials, and engage with a hand-picked selection of technology mods focused on physical transportation and high quality animation.

Trains and Flames is Quest-Driven, with multiple quests designed to help guide players through mods, but also reward those willing to go above and beyond.

Create your own tools with a re-envisioned Tinker's Construct, running in 1.18 with multiple expansions. Explore Thermal Expansion with a new coat of paint, its own 1.18 tweaks and unique addons. And lastly, enjoy fidgeting with an entire suite of Create mods and expansions, used to centralize the entire tech experience around the Create mod. Together, with their expansions and integrations, we have managed to create an unparalleled Minecraft tech experience that feels somehow just like vanilla, but with so many more options. But, it doesn't stop there. Ars Nouveau is also included, to provide a magic component. It also comes with multiple additions.

No more overpowered tech! No excessive technology options. Our technology additions, like everything in Trains Flames and Caves, was chosen with unity in mind to create a cohesive theme that is enduring, but also unique. Our custom structures and terrain create real, lived-in worlds and integrate blocks from other mods in a way that will encourage you to explore. Every world you make in Trains Flames and Caves is unique and beautiful, filled with surprises and things you likely have not seen in another modpack.

Lastly, our custom alterations fill the gap. Multiple crafting recipes have been altered to be more suitable, to ensure that your experience is well balanced. There are custom recipes, attribute alterations, damage balance changes to ensure no one mod is the most overpowered, and more. Likewise, menu screens and loading screens have all been thoroughly customized.

Important Notes

• Allocate at least 5-6 GB of RAM to Trains Flames and Caves. 8-10 is recommended. Anything above 12 can be too much.
