Tranquility: Origins
No reviews yet
Tranquility was designed with one thing in mind: enjoying the experience and surroundings.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Description

“Quiet is peace. Tranquility. Quiet is turning down the volume knob on life. Silence is pushing the off button. Shutting it down. All of it.” ― Khaled Hosseini
Tranquility was created with the hopes to be just a modpack I could load up, play, and just enjoy the sounds and surroundings. It's was designed for exploration, coupled with my favourite mods, sprinkled with visuals and topped off with game-extending features.
This modpack won't be for everyone, it will be pretty resource intensive and require good computer hardware to play it the way I intended it.

Ore Generation
Ore generation is custom made for this mudpack. Poor quality ores can be found by exploring caves and when smelted yield nuggets.
Regular quality ores and gems generate in large veins and are much harder to find. Equip the right Finder Compass to help notify you when you’re in range of one of these deposits and start digging.
Environment Visuals & Audio
Minecraft with a face lift! The world has been transformed, gone are the hard-edged tree trunks and stiff leaves.
Logs are now round and leaves are bushier and add a calming autumn feel as you watch leaves fall in front of you.
Dynamic sounds will surround you as explore, changing the effects depending on what biome you’re currently in as well as the weather. You’ll often hear birds chirping in the distance and owls calling out for you at night.
Villagers & Villages
Thanks to MCA, villages play a vital role in roleplaying. Interact with your villagers, tell them jokes or flirt with them! With the ability to get married, have kids and help your village thrive … the possibilities are endless.
Set roles for your villagers like hunter or guardsman, have them accompany you into dungeons and caves to fight off any dangers that you might face.
Dimension Revamps
The Nether and The End have also gotten a facelift thanks to End: Reborn & NetherEx.
The Nether now has new biomes to explore, enemies to conquer and loot to, well … loot!
The Ends main island won’t bring any new surprises, but should you decide to venture away from it, you’ll encounter many new islands with treasures of their own.
Exploration
As you explore, you’ll encounter more than just villages. Over 180 new structures spawn throughout the world.
Be weary of large towers however, while they may hold incredible riches and loot, they also spawn some of the most dangerous mobs. Always be prepared before venturing down the staircase.
Server Friendly
As the pack begins to take shape, we’ll release a server version of the modpack as well.
While the server pack isn’t being released just yet, check out the Official Server for Tranquility below!

Tranquility is likely going to be heavy on resources, recommended:
Memory: 6-10GB
GPU: Any gaming GPU since 2016 should handle the requirements. Adjusting the graphics to lower settings will also help with any stuttering/lag.
This modpack was designed to be as visually appealing as possible, which is why we also recommend using Optifine HD for 1.16.5
For even more realism, install a shader pack. The screenshots you’ll see below were all taken with Sildur’s Vibrant Shaders 1.283. Download the best shader pack for your PC’s specs and add it to the shader folder.
