Tribulation

This modpack aims to bring a more complete experience, from baubles like necklaces and rings, magic, more enchantments, more bosses, and more and more. Old systems like fishing, enchanting, and exploring have been given a fresh coat of paint or reworked altogether. The pack is also meant to up the difficulty in almost every department, but this is due to giving the player more tools to become stronger and, at some points, outright overpowered. There will be future updates of this pack as I plan on touching on every part of Minecraft and bring it all up to my own standards.

Themes and Goals of The Pack

The main thing here is to improve on everything in the game with a fantasy feel layered over it. Recently. I have also begun adding a tinge of horror to spice up the gameplay, enjoy! ;)

I installed Optifine and the pack isn't working!

This modpack is incompatible with optifine. It is more than optimized and optifine would not help in any way however if you're looking to use shaders there are alternatives.

There are way too many mobs... or not enough!

There is a config called Dusk where you can edit the maximum number of mobs during the day and night. Super helpful for fine-tuning your own experience.

I don't like *mod* or *feature*

I definitely understand how frustrating it is to find a modpack that is perfect for you personally, but as someone behind the scenes making the modpack, it is very difficult to please everyone. If I get enough feedback on a certain mod or feature I am open to making alternative versions of the modpack without them but keep in mind this will take time and these versions will probably be updated way slower if at all. I'll do my best though just be respectful.

Will this be updated for newer versions of the game?

For the time being, probably not. I'm not a huge fan of the more recent updates and their modding potential is much more limited than 1.16.5 at the moment. It comes down to preference but if someone would want to do it on my behalf then that's okay.

Just a final note, do not bother the mod authors with bugs in this pack as more likely than not it's a compatibility issue or something I overlooked so message me with any issues run into. If I can't figure it out I'll reach out to the mod author from there and see what I can do.
