About
Description
This mod pack was designed with a focus on expanding aspects of vanilla Minecraft, hence the name “Triple Vanilla”, while retaining the simplistic vibe of vanilla. Designed to be accessible by those not accustomed to mods, this pack has been built with mods that follow at least one of these guidelines:
- Their features would not feel out of place in a theoretical vanilla Minecraft update. Examples: Biomes o’ Plenty, Ender Zoo, Pam’s Harvestcraft.
- They add features that are complementary to those in vanilla Minecraft. Examples: ProjectRed, Railcraft, Tinker’s Construct.
- Their features, although introduced by the mod, are simple to get into and are useful to the common player. Example: Thermal Expansion.
- They add convenient features to assist player inexperienced with mods, or Minecraft in general. Examples: NEI, JourneyMap, Waila.
This pack was also built with intention to be played with friends. Hence, there are some mods specific to the multiplayer experience, including features such as chunk claiming, friend listing, and the hat exchange. Of course, nothing’s stopping you from playing single player if you want to.
