About
Description
"You awaken in a broken world.
The last remnants of a once-great human civilization lie scattered across the ruins. Humanity's days are over.
Now, all kinds of supernatural forces roam the surface. To survive, you must adapt, scavenge what remains of humanity’s glory days, learn to defend yourself, and perhaps even tame the most devious creatures to fight by your side, or seek out surviving mercenaries and special forces who may still be convinced to join you for a fair price, all while enduring the horrors that lurk in the wasteland.
If you survive long enough, you may uncover the truth behind the fall of mankind... And when you hear the distant sound of horns echoing across the land, pray it’s not too late."
A little modpack I made for Halloween!
Turing off in-game music is recommended.
At v1.1, I added a starter map called "Camp Twilie." I spent a few hours building it (I’m not the best builder haha), but I hope it turned out well! This starter map includes some basic equipment and supplies to help you and your friends get started. It’s especially helpful for those who aren’t sure what to do, or for anyone who wants an easier start. I put a lot of effort into making it, so I really hope you enjoy it! :D
At v1.3.2, the map "Checkpoint Twilie" has been added! It's supposed to be at v1.3 but anyways, It's a map that I spent sooo much time and effort to build, because again, I'm not the best builder, and I'm too dumb to know how to use fancy stuff like WorldEdit. So I cleared a little bit of terrain by hand, placed every block, decoration, and even items in the chests one by one. Thought very hard about the layout to make it look aesthetic but won't feel out of place. And it took me forever to find the perfect seed to build this one! xDD
It's a map built in a world with ChaosZPack world generation, everything is wayyy more good looking!
I'd be very happy if you have a good time playing this map!
And of course, the starter map is for you to have an easier start, but after a while when you're confident enough, feel free to ditch the starter map and create your own world, start from zero to experience the hardcore horror! ^^
At v1.7 Custom menu has been added.
World creation tips:
With the proper ChaosZPack config file added in v1.3.1, there is now only one world type that you'd be using, which is the "aaaaaaaaz15Flat", you can see it in the gallery.
I personally think this is the best out of everything, a much more detailed city, diversed buildings, suburban area, urban area with skyscraper, everything is better looking. And the way you find the city in this new world type is to find the highway and follow it. The city would be at either one end or the other. And if you want wilderness and only find some abandoned modern buildings here and there, just simply don't follow the highway. So this is like an "all in one" version, but everything is wayyy better, it's almost perfect!
If you want tall buildings like in the gallery, refer to the "Tall Buildings Setting" image in the gallery.
If you want a more balanced world experience, refer to the "Keerdm Zombie Apocalypse Essentials Setting" in the gallery.
If you want to explore the wilderness more, refer to the "Rare Cities Setting" in the gallery. And don't worry, even if the cities are rare, you will still find many abandoned structures as you explore.
