About

Description

... Is a modpack I made that follows one simple question. Can you take over the Twilight Forest using guns, tanks, and whatever Create machines one could fathom?

the answer is yes, you can.

This is a modpack where you take revenge on the mystical forest that has wronged you. At least, from your perspective. Following your banishment from the realm, due to whatever you may believe you did. And it is now your sworn duty to get your revenge, using everything at your disposal that is NOT magical.

I feel I must repeat this, THERE IS NO MAGIC.

no mods.

no enchanting.

only industry.

And the things at your disposal? Well, I can show you.

We have more Create stuff than you could ever want or need! With standout mods like

Dreams n Desires,

Clockworks and Trackworks,

The Factory Must Grow,

Big Cannons,

Love and War,

Estrogen,

Numismatics,

Everything. It's all there. In general, the vibe is meant to be Dieselpunk-inspired, but whether you follow that aesthetic is up to you.

In this modpack, you don't play as an ordinary human. In fact, you CAN'T play as an ordinary human. The only forms you can take are anything anthropomorphic or mythical. Your Twilight Forest origins are why you can only play as anthropomorphic animals.

This modpack also includes custom origins! Made by me. Various animals like Deer, Wolves, Owls, Bears, etc. Are all playable. I cannot promise all origins will be balanced, but oh well. You'll manage.

THE END IS NO MORE

Sorry not sorry, but if you wanted to travel to the end, tough luck. Strongholds no longer generate.

I wanted players to focus entirely on Twilight Forest. No distractions. This means to say that if you don't like Twilight Forest, you probably won't like this modpack.

But do not fear! Many end items are still obtainable. Simply craft an End Reactor, build a very familiar Pocket Edition structure, and follow the instructions, and you can fight the ender dragon in the overworld. Crazy, right?

The Ender Dragon makes plenty of end items obtainable via drops. Except elytras. Those will never return.

This modpack contains plenty of gameplay changes, made ENTIRELY by me. Things like

custom structures,

quest-based tiers (inspired by satisfactory),

unique currency,

handmade recipes for gun parts,

plenty of recipe changes,

moving oil to the Twilight Forest,

And probably a few more I'm forgetting. Either way, this modpack is NOT the sort of thing someone cobbles together in an afternoon.

In fact, this modpack took me weeks to finish, mostly because I did a bunch of beta testing to ensure everything works and is more or less balanced. But all in all, I think it was worth it.

Altogether, I hope you enjoy Twilight Deforestation! If you have any comments regarding changes you want to see implemented, leave a comment with your suggestion. I'm open to ideas and will consider any feedback you'd like to give me. But this doesn't mean I'll automatically include everything anyone says!

Added chemical weapons, guided missiles, and also locked the nether behind the naga

1.0 - First release!
