About
Description
This modpack is extremely light weight, and is very much geared towards players who prefer casual vanilla style gameplay, with a number of quality of life tweaks.
A brief summary of notable mods and changes in the pack are as follows:
- Quark, with many of the annoying features disabled
- Filters and Faucets
- GraveStone
- Notch apples can now be crafted again, see the in game guide (JEI).
- Bows can once again have the infinity and mending enchantment at the same time.
- Enchantments can now be crafted in an anvil. Many players seems to spend more time in AFK fish farms than actually playing the game. This change averts the need for AFK fish farms. Even the treasure enchantments can be crafted now, though they're not cheap!
- Destructive agressive mobs will no longer destroy your builds.
- When you break the logs that make a tree, the leaves will despawn quickly, so you don't have to wait around hoping to collect those sweet apples.
- Tools can be infinitely repaired in an anvil, the XP cost for repairing and adding enchantments remain static, no matter how many repairs or enchantments you try to add.
- Players can jump over fences, but don't worry those mobs won't be able to follow you.
- Crops can be harvested and replanted automatically by right clicking on them.
- A number of quality of life mods make inventory management easier.
- The recipe book has been replaced by the JEI mod.
- Villages are slightly more common than in vanilla, and they can now also be found in more biomes
- A few new biomes have been added to the game, though they fit in really well with vanilla biomes, and you won't be overwhelmed by them.
- It's possible to mine an entire vein of ores with a single swing of your pickaxe now, there's a modified key to enable this behaviour, check you control settings
- The crafting bench stores items when you leave the GUI and Lapis stays in the enchantment table when you leave that GUI.
- Wither skeletons always drop a skull fragment, these can be combined to form a wither skeleton skull, to make them easier to obtain.
- You won't be annoyed by the vanilla tutorial and pop up toasts designed for new players, these have been disabled.
- Mob health is visible when you look directly at them.
- You can access your shulker boxes without having to place them in the world.
A few other minor tweaks have been made to the gameplay, all quite trivial, but welcome additions to vanilla.
