Description

This is the best minecraft vanilla experience I've had so far. I believe this modpack truly resolves a lot current vanilla issues and also adds a bit of more challange for veteran players. Sophisticated storage / backpacks is added to resolve the storage issues the game has, while artifacts are added to provide a fun vanilla like upgrade system similar to trinkets from terraria. To balance things out, you only start with 1 heart and have to eats your way through in order to get back to the default health size.

You will only start with one heart. You would need to eat different types of food and you will receive one extra heart every 3, 6, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 unique foods eaten. Whenever you die, your unique food eaten will reset and you will go back to one heart again. By default, naturalRegeneration is also turned off (this may be toggled using the /gamerule naturalRegeneration true command), this is called the softcore experience. For an added challenge, we recommend starting the world on hardcore. This is done to add a gameplay mechanic that helps players actually searching for as many food types as possible, instead of going the steak or golden carrots route.

The mod list may be extended depending on requests and comments.

Some mods are also added to deal with the more annoying and lag inducing parts of minecraft such as dealing with Villagers and Piglins. Recipes may be tweaked in the future for balance.

Curio and Artifacts are also added so you may use your elytra or wear your backpack while also wearing armor and to give you a sense of progression via the permanent upgrades coming from artifacts.

List of content altering mods:

Artifacts

Sophisticated Backpacks

Sophisticated Storage

Easy Villagers

Easy Bartering

Void Totem

Curio

The other mods in the modpack are either dependencies or performance improvements mods or very small QoL mods (such as Horse Expert)

More mods to be added in the future!
