Q: How much RAM do I need?
A: We recommend allocating a minimum of 5GB of RAM to run Uncle Genny's. In addition, we suggest you use the following Java Args in your launcher of choice to maximize performance:
-XX:+UseG1GC -Dsun.rmi.dgc.server.gcInterval=2147483646 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M -Dfml.readTimeout=180
Q: Are there any quests?
A: No quests, but there is some light progression built into the pack. Some key crafted items will require materials found in other dimensions. Some items (or even entire mods) won't show up in JEI until you discover certain places in game. We wanted to encourage exploration and adventure rather than lead you down a defined quest path.
Q: "I'm new to Modded Minecraft and don't know how to X..."
A: On the bookshelf in your starter RV you should see a guidebook by Cousin Dash. In that book is a TON of great information for new players.
Q: Can I record/livestream your modpack?
A: Absolutely! I only ask that you provide a link to this page so people know where to download it!
Q: Can I play this modpack on a server?
A: Yes you can! As a matter of fact, we've put in a lot of work to make sure everything is as server friendly/efficient as possible.
