Description
Welcome to Unholy RPG 3!

A modpack I've put together recently for my friends and I. The original modpack idea came about all the way back in 1.5.2 when I wanted to play an RPG within Minecraft but there weren't any modpacks that really scratched that itch and most mods that had RPG in the name weren't really RPGs. The main one that was used by most RPG modpacks back then was Divine RPG, but in that era there weren't any RPG elements involved in that mod. I wanted, leveling, advanced combat, classes, magic, progression, NPCs etc. Now, there are lots of RPG modpacks that actually hit the mark for me. That said, there are specific mods that interest me that aren't included in most packs, and I do find this stuff fun. Curse is the only place I can really distribute this new pack easily so here we are. The previous iterations aren't available here and never will be. I'm open to suggestions but I'm trying to keep this pack light as many of my friends are on some outdated hardware.
Gameplay So Far:
The central mods in URPG3 right now are Ars Nouveau, Create, Origins, MCA Reborn, Blue Skies, Twilight Forest, Minecolonies, Occultism, and Evilcraft.
The goal is to let players create a character, devise strategies for conquering the questing mods like Twilight Forest and Blue Skies, find a nice place to settle, start a town, study magic, build rudimentary machines, and create new adventures for themselves. Thematically, this modpack is focused on fantasy RPG style setting, with elements of magic, demons, character interactions, exploration, cosmic horror and low-level technology. I actively avoid having too many modern concepts in the modpack so that it doesn't feel like it clashes too much. As I previously mentioned I'm trying to keep the mod load light to not bog down weaker machines but I have ideas for more mods to add down the line.
About me:
I personally have no intention to actively advertise this modpack or make any sort of personal gain from it as it stands. I want to maintain and tweak the mod to make sure it continues to work well, and I may create custom content for it as well at which point I might change my stance on that, but I really just want credit to go to the incredible people who make these mods and share them for others to enjoy. I'm personally extremely impressed with what the modern modding community is capable of and am overjoyed to see many of my favorite mods continue to see support or continuations that expand on the originals while contributing brand new concepts to them. If you read this far, congratulations! I ranted a lot and am pretty much on autopilot after spending my whole day working on the logo for a pack I didn't think I'd post. Thanks and I hope you enjoy.
