Description

Uranium is a modpack I'm developing to improve Minecraft's performance as much as I possibly can. Mostly developing for some of my friends who have issues with Minecraft's singleplayer performance. Some of them can't even hit 30 FPS in singleplayer, which is ridiculous.

⚙️ How Does Uranium Work?

Uranium works just the same as how Sodium works. It's a complete rewrite of the Minecraft rendering engine (well, Sodium is the rewrite, I'm just the pack dev) and the chunk engine(or whatever it is).

So you may be wondering, does this actually even work?

My answer is: It should.

I can't say for certain if it'll work for you or not. It should, as it rewrites Minecraft's rendering engine AND the chunk engine(?). But I'm hoping it does, as I practically made this modpack for one of my friends who struggles INSANELY with performance on singleplayer.

Uranium also comes with built-in shader support, as Iris is included.
