V1ERZ QoL

Vanilla Minecraft, but smoother.

V1ERZ QoL is a lightweight quality-of-life pack made of every V1ERZ mod. It changes no gameplay: no new blocks, mobs or recipes. It just removes the small annoyances you hit every session. Add it to your world, and your chests, tools and tooltips get better right away.

Highlights

  • Tidy storage: press R in any chest and it's sorted, merged and grouped.
  • Never lose your stuff: after you die, a HUD arrow points you back, and the marker clears itself when you arrive.
  • Keep your good tools: protected at low durability, with an override key when you want to finish them off.
  • Build without stopping: place your last block and the next stack is already in your hand.
  • Know what things do: hold Shift on an enchanted item to see what each enchantment does.
  • Works on servers: everything is client-side. Nothing needs installing on the server.

Every mod saves its settings in the config folder.

Who is it for?

  • Players who want vanilla with the annoying parts fixed.
  • Servers and friend groups: everyone can run it, and nothing is needed on the server.
  • Modpack makers: use it as a base layer and add your own content on top.

  • Very lightweight: it has no noticeable effect on performance.

FAQ

Will it change my gameplay? No. It adds no content and doesn't alter survival rules.

Can I add it to an existing world? Yes. Install it and play. Removing it later won't break your world.

Does it work on servers? Yes. It's all client-side, so servers don't need it.

Can I add other mods on top? Yes, it's built to sit under other packs and mods. Sortify handles chests built on the vanilla chest screen.
