About

Description

ValeRail is a 1.21.1 NeoForge modpack focused on the create mod, specifically because we want to build trains.
Create and its addons are our primary technical mods with CC:Tweaked lurking in the background for some reason.
Magic comes from Irons and Malums, with alchemic enhancements coming from Toxony and Vital Herbs (surprisingly, not a mod about drugs) and the enchanting system from Apotheosis.
Our world generator is Lithosphere and is enhanced by Nature’s Spirit.
We have Lootr, Artifacts and Relics for those that like to find interesting loot.
We have Corpse in case you die, Farmer’s Delight in case you are hungry and sophisticated storage in case you want to use netherrite to upgrade your chests for some reason.
Tom’s Simple Storage is our main inventory management mod and NO I will not add AE2 or RS2 no matter how passionately you beg.
We also have a bevy of cosmetic mods, including chisel n’ bits (please don’t make me regret giving you this power), with many more mods to make you laugh and cry.

The biggest differences between this and our previous packs is the larger size of biomes and our focus on non-flight methods of transport.
Elytra have been nerfed, flight rockets are no more and there are no methods of long range teleportation, with the possible exception of vanilla enderpearl stasis chambers.
We do this with the aim of encouraging players to build infrastructure like roads for horses and Astikor carts. To hopefully see nether tunnels and hubs built and eventually to build rail networks across the server because that is what Vale would have want.
