About

Description

title

Vanilla MC Plus+ is a mod-pack that improves your HUD, your UI, massively improves your performance, and other mods to improve your QoL.

If you use the main minecraft launcher with fabric, download the mod and shaderpack zip at the bottom of the version description!!!

What is it?

This is a modpack consisting of many QoL features and performance mods. The aim of this is to improve your minecraft experience. This mod also improves the world generation with mods such as Geophilic (adds fallen trees and patches of rock around the world) and Tectonic (better caves and flatter world generation). If you would like to remove them, you can by taking out the .jar files in your mod folder. They are also compatible with Terralith.

How to install it with a third party launcher such as MultiMC or Prism?

It is very easy to do this with a third party launcher. There should be an option to import a modpack with the .mrpack file extension, so find that and browse for the file that you downloaded. It should work and you will be able to run the instance.

How to install it with the classic launcher?

For the classic Minecraft Launcher however, it will be a bit harder. You will have to download Fabric by either downloading it onto the minecraft launcher or using a third party client, such as Prism or MultiMC. Make a new instance for the downloaded version with fabric installed, run the world (and close it), and open the Mod folder. Download the .zip files underneath the main .mrpack file which contains all of the mods, shader packs, and resource packs. Put in all of the files in their respective folders, and you'll be good to go!

Is it client side or server side?

Because it's a modpack; an assortment of mods, you may have to remove some or add some to adjust it to client side or server side so it works well. Generally speaking, this modpack was designed for singleplayer play, but it can be definitely used for servers, you just may have to tweak some of the mods. In terms of server sided however, the only mods are (as I said earlier), Tectonic and Geophilic. The rest are client sided.

How customizable is the modpack?

As customizable as each mod is. The pack automatically comes with the Mod Menu mod installed, so you can edit every mod to your liking there.

Things you may need to adjust:

To begin with, for maximum performance, you will need to edit the graphic settings for best performance. The keybinds will be the mod's default, so there will be lots of errors as one key will have two controls. You will need to edit that. To remove a keybind for that control, click 'escape' in the keybind editor.

Other Stuff:

I also used Bobby instead of Distant Horizons so it is compatible with Iris shaders. Iris automatically comes with the Bliss shaders installed, so you can use that off the bat.

As well, I personally dislike Fresh Animations as it doesn't feel "vanilla" to me, but if you like the resource pack and would like to use it, here is a link:

Finally, I sometimes use Baritone in my single player world, so there is the link for it. You can download at the bottom of the page, just make sure to have an ad blocker on!

If you would like to suggest any mods to add to the modpack, my discord username is affluendo, so you can text me there. Thanks in advance for your support!
