About

Description

A strictly vanilla styled fabric pack that has two priorities, performance and quality of life.

Performance is largely from a combination of fabric itself, lithium, client tweaks, clumps, cull leaves, ferrite, indium, lazyDFU (Mainly just speeds up boot times), MemoryLeakFix (Doesn't seem to do anything for most people, but fixes some niche memory issues that would render it otherwise unplayable for some), sodium, sodium extra, and starlight.

As for quality of life, better compatibility for ease of server use, better third person (Can be toggled off freely), CleanCut, Dual Riders, Dynamic Sounds, Effective (Why is this QOL? Well with some shader packs running water doesn't quite look right, and this makes running water more obvious and not so jello looking), immersive weathering, kleeslabs, LambDyanicLights, Login Protection, Mouse Tweaks, Pling, Presence Footsteps, Skin Layers 3D, Terralith (Note: This is a biomes mod, but it only uses pre-existing blocks and items, not adding anything new other than biome ID's), Xaero's map and minimap, and You're in Grave Danger.

Resource packs included are Classic 3D (16x), Motschen's Better Leaves, and Round Trees.

Many of these have been configured after extensive testing for an optimal mix of performance, usability, and quality (visual and otherwise). Most things can be safely tweaked without worry, but there are a few things to keep in mind. 1. These settings have been mostly testing on Nvidia cards and Intel processors running DDR3 memory, representing the average computer that would be playing a modded minecraft. 2. The suggested shader pack is Sildur's Extreme Volumetric. BSL and other packs seem to see considerably worse performance, so Sildur's packs in general are HIGHLY recommended. 3. I suggest that fog is set one to two chunks lower than your render distance. With Sildur's the fog is very transparent, and works well set at a low level without looking odd. Setting it to also use morning fog (as is set by default in this pack) also helps in this.

Farsight is currently included but turned off by default as it seems to have performance issues that I am still working on, but will be included soon, as will a server pack.
