Vi SMP + MaximumMC

This is the official modpack for the MaximumMC server! While not technically required to play, it features the necessary mods to connect to our server-side ingame voice chat, as well as the sodium mod to improve your framerate! A mod list and explanation is provided:

Due to a security flaw found in java on 12/9/2021, please DO NOT use versions of this pack older than 2.1.1, after which it is patched in this modpack

Contains:

Version 1:
Fabric API (required for server compatibility)

Simple Voice Chat (required for server compatibility)

Sodium (the best client performance optimization mod out there)

Version 2 adds:
Precise Block Placing (allows you to place blocks more accurately. It's hard to explain, so look it up. DO NOT USE THIS MOD ON PVP SERVERS! I take no responsibility if you get banned for god-bridging with this mod)
AppleSkin (shows saturation levels that already exist behind the scenes and allows you to previews how much hunger food will fill)
Iris Shaders (allows optifine shaders to work with sodium instead of optifine)
LambDynamicLights (adds dynamic lights, duh)
Mod Menu (adds a menu to see what mods you have installed)
Mouse Wheelie (more inventory utilities. middle click in an inventory to auto-sort it)

Version 2.1 adds: 

Continuity (connected textures with included connected texture resource pack)

Entity Culling (client performance optimization)

Ferrite Core (performance optimization)

Indium (dependency for compatibility between colormatic, continuity, and sodium)

LazyDFU (speeds up game start time significantly)

Lithium (server and single player performance optimization)

Sodium Extra (more options for particles, fog toggling, and others)

Xaero's Minimap (it's a minimap)

Xaero's Worldmap (works with minimap, saves chunks you visited for later viewing)

Also included are several small resource packs:

Connected Textures (adds connected textures w/o optifine. other resource packs with connected textures work too)

Fang's Recommended vanilla tweaks (some vanilla tweaks I like and/or find useful)

3d blocks and wavy water/leaves (makes more blocks 3d, makes water wavy and leaves blowy)

WHAT spyglass meme texture (replaces spyglass overlay with WHAT meme)

Screaming goats meme sound (goats screaming sound added to goats)

Version 2.1.1: Updates Fabric to block a major security flaw

Version 2.2: Updates to 1.18.1 and adds:
Shulker Box Tooltip (mouse over your shulker to see what's inside in your inventory)
NoFade (remove useless animations to speed up game)

Enhanced Block Entities (reduce tile entity rendering lag)

Cleancut (swing through grass equivalent)

Better f3

Starlight (lighting engine optimization)
