If you like the old School Modpacks this might be for you!

Are you bored playing the same Mods in different Modpacks, or maybe you got a nostalgia trip because of all the Minecraft Beta content?

Then this Modpack might be for you!

VintageTech tries to tingle your creativity by limiting your mod choice and giving you mods that you have heard about but maybe haven't played that much.

This pack has:
Beta World Generation (you could even play a survival world in the never-released Skylands)

The old-school combination of IC2, Buildcraft, Forestry, Railcraft and Thaumcraft inspired by packs like Tekkit Lite and FTB Ultimate.

Explore Space with Galacticraft!

And don't be discouraged by seeing Gregtech in here. This is the old 1.4.7 version that tries to balance everything out a bit with new machines, but it doesn't have the extreme complexity of GT5 and higher.

Are you tired of building the same ME system every time? Maybe try Logistic Pipes for a change, or even the Project Red storage system you probably never used or even heard about.

Will this Modpack waste 100+ hours of your life? No, in fact, you will probably finish it relatively quickly, it depends on how you play Minecraft.

I would say play it like Beta Minecraft. Just enjoy your time. I also tried to not include anything OP in here so I hope it is balanced.

Note:
If you want to use IC2s Classic profile, you can do that, and it won't mess up anything, but you need to delete the IC2 patcher for that to work.
