VR-Tech

VR is optional in this pack, it does NOT include Vivecraft by default. Instructions on how to use a VR Headset are below.

This pack was designed for multiplayer use with some of the most common tech mods for 1.12.2.

Buildcraft: Quarries that will mine for you, pipes to transfer items and fluids, engines to power everything with different types of fuel, and refineries to refine naturally spawning oil into fuel.

Draconic Evolution: Late game mod with powerful tools, weapons, and armor all based around a new ore, Draconium.

Extreme Reactors: Customizable multi-block reactors to generate tons of energy.

Ender IO: Alternative to the Thermal Series. Machines to process items more efficiently. See Thermal Series for more info.

Forestry: Multi-block farms for almost every type of plant in the game.

ProjectE: Equivalent exchange, see https://ftb.gamepedia.com/Getting_Started_(ProjectE) for more information.

Refined Storage: Similar to Applied Energistics 2, a storage mod allowing you to store massive amounts of items in a digital network.

Thermal Series: Machines of all sorts to process items more efficiently, for example duplication of ores or sorting/transportation of items.

Tinkers' Construct: Alternative to Ender IO. Custom tools with modifiers made of almost any material you want.

For VR headset use please follow the instructions below:

- Download the Vivecraft 1.12.2 installer from here: https://github.com/jrbudda/Vivecraft_112/releases

- Open the installer.

- Make sure "Install Vivecraft with Forge" and "Modpack Directory" are both enabled. (you can also set a custom profile name if you want)

- Set the "Profile Ram Allocation (GB)" to as much ram as you want, 4-8GB is reccomended.

- Set the Modpack Directory (Not the "Select path to Minecraft" directory) to the folder where twitch installed the modpack by clicking the box with three dots [ ... ].

   The default directory is "C:\Users\"Your user"\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\vr-tech"

- Click "Install" and you're done!

- Be sure to launch the game from the regular Minecraft launcher and not twitch or else Vivecraft will not be enabled.

For non VR headset use please follow the instructions below:

- Just launch the game from twitch like any other modpack.

There is no server pack just yet, but if you want a dedicated server version just copy the mods to a 1.12.2 forge server along with the "Vivecraft Forge Plugin" available here: https://owncloud.techjargaming.com/index.php/s/RsnyWmdN8OeJEI4
