WEEVILCRAFT
Vanilla+ modpack
Still vanilla flavored:
WeevilCraft is a modpack made originally for a group of people who wanted to play Minecraft, but didn’t want the strange plastered-on feel that comes with using some mods. Unfortunately, most large and content-packed modpacks often have a bloated feel, as if they don’t look quite like Minecraft anymore. This modpack is made for people who aren’t necessarily bored of normal minecraft, but still want to have more things to do and explore; which is why every one of these mods were hand chosen for their vanilla-like feel.
Quark:
Perhaps the largest mod in this modpack is Quark, a well-known mod that adds delightful and functional additions to your game while still feeling Minecraft-y. Most categories will have something from Quark, so if that is mentioned and you want to know more then please visit their page.

Find more:
In this modpack, there are many things to explore and discover within your world. Going underground? Look for ruins, glowing Corundum caves, stony creepers, giant dungeons, friendly goblins, and more. Sticking to the surface? Harvest wild crops, buy redstone from a villager, befriend (or fight!) new animals and creatures, or work on kinetic machinery. No matter what part of the game you are in, there is more to find.
Animals, beasts, and monsters:
This modpack makes sure you feel like your world is more alive. It well over doubles the amount of creatures in the game, and they are all made to feel as if they could be added into minecraft in the future. Alex’s mobs adds over 60 new mobs, and you get an Animal dictionary when you start in. This book will show you the great creatures added by this mod. Any other creatures that aren’t from the book are from Quark, and any new creepers you see are from Creeper Overhaul. No matter where you are, the game will seem much more lively. The great thing is, all non-creepers from this selection of new animals have a function. You might find a Toretoise underground, and realize that you can harvest the redstone on it’s back. You might be in the nether, and come out with an obsidian lava mount that seats four. You never know what new friends and foes you will encounter.
Cosmetic changes:
This modpack makes self-expression a priority. Ever realize that at the end of the game, or really anywhere after the start, everyone wears the same stuff? This makes being on a server a bit less fun, as nobody looks different, and you usually can’t even see their skins. Well, this modpack has you covered. Wanna dye your elytra, or put banner patterns on them? Do you want to have the option to disable the visuals of some of your armor, and even put purely cosmetic armor over what you’re wearing? What about functional Terraria-styled accessories that have great visuals, and can really level up your appearance? We’ve got it covered. Thanks to the mods Artifact, Customizable Elytra, and Cosmetic armor reworked, you can customize your character to look really any way you want. And since your skin can be seen even when you’re wearing armor now, why don’t we make it a little more detailed with Skin Layers 3D. This mod makes the second layer of your skin 3-dimensional, so that you can have a little more detail. Now instead of being drab and boring, you can look however you want at any point in the game!
Technology:
This modpack offers many options for technology, so that you can really build/automate whatever you want. The technology included comes from three mods mainly: Quark, Alex’s Mobs, and Create. Quark adds many new redstone blocks to the game, for those who are more comfortable with traditional minecraft tech. Some of Alex’s Mobs drop materials for redstone components too, such as the capsid or gustmaker. For those who want to really test their engineering skills, try using some of Create mod’s stuff. This is an extremely well known mod, and it adds a kinetic engineering aspect to Minecraft. Heck, you can even construct a chocolate factory! Be sure to let your imagination run wild with all of these new possibilities for machines and farms.
QOL+smaller changes:
Now that you’ve read about some of the larger, more broad aspects of the pack, here is a list of the remaining smaller changes:
- Craft arrows out of amethyst and copper to make them stronger
- The nether is twice as tall and biomes can generate on top of each other
- New food UI that shows things like saturation and how much hunger points food will restore
- 200+ new blocks to build with from Create, Architect’s Palette, Quark, and more
- Find ruins underground containing useful artifacts that you can equip
- Music will play in certain biomes, slower at night, and new music during the boss fights
- The enchantment table retains its inventory and can be automated with hoppers
- Water has splashes, droplets, improved visuals, and new sounds
- New crops, as well as new ways to cook them
- Small goblins that you can trade with (found underground and in the nether)
- Chop trees by continually breaking the base
- Illagers can now wear armor
- JEI (to make life easier)
- Ore can generate in stones such as granite and tuff, as well as all other stone types (including Quark’s)
- More mouse functions and controls for easier item handling
- Simple copper pipes to decorate factories and water crops
- Redstone villager (target block for profession)
- No experimental settings page
- Swing weapons through grass
- Vanilla dungeons are much more interesting and large
