Weird Contraption 5

Weird Contraption 5 is right for those who are bored with the gameplay of vanilla Minecraft, by making the game more difficult in the early game with temperature and limited hearts and diversified well known tech mods like Thermal Series, Refined Storage and Create.

This is the fifth pack in this series with mods that are generally fun or challenging. It features a lot of popular mods as well as mods that you probably never heard of. It contains a lot of tech mods, but also tries to keep the explorer satisfied with a decent amount of world generation changes (watch the trailer) without killing the server.

Tech mods typically make the player better, faster, stronger, so the pack also must be more difficult (easier than RLCraft, harder than FTB). And so, the early days will be hard. But as you gear up, it'll become easier to stand those difficulties.

Everyone should be able to play this pack, so people who are completely new to modded Minecraft will also be able to play this pack (but they will probably struggle with the difficulty) because it also features quests! You can simply investigate the quests and see what you must do next if you are stuck on a mod (not perfectly detailed, but enough to keep you going). Weird Contraption 5 also features dozens of bosses. If you want a challenge or test your new gear, look in the quests and pick a boss. The quest book is your best friend when you don’t know what to do.

The other older Weird Contraption versions were published on the Technic Platform (Not as polished as this one, more like mod collections). I moved to CurseForge because it's easier to maintain the pack and keep the mods updated.
