Description
A modpack focused on creating a wild western experience, with:
-Reworked armor and tool progression: Gone are the days of throwing away old, underpowered armors and grinding for Mending and Unbreaking. This modpack removes durability altogether, allowing you to use tools for much longer and progress at a more comfortable pace through the game. On top of that, armors now have weight values that make higher defense options less of a straight upgrade and more of a build choice. And, to make sure the less tanky of you aren't caught out naked (and that the more tanky aren't just worse off), I've concocted a mod that adds unique bonuses to each set, with Leather granting more mobility and a boost to health, Gold providing Haste and Regen, Copper increasing melee damage, Chain Mail giving you a faster attack speed, Iron giving more knockback, and Diamond increasing jump height. Additionally, Iron tools and weapons have better mining and attacking range, and Gold tools have juiced mining speed.
-Seasonally-based farming: With Ecliptic Seasons, the world will change as you play. Among the changes this brings, it introduces the prospect of seasonal crop rotations, where each crop has its own ideal growing conditions.
-Horse-centered improvements: With the Monacle from Horse Expert you can now see your horses' stats, allowing you to pick the best mount for any adventure. You'll also be able to call them to you with a Goat Horn by naming your horse and crouching in front of it with the horn to bind them. Never be without yer hoss again! You can also feed them with Horse Feed - Complements of Farmer's Delight - to temporarily boost their stats.
-A selection of firearms (and modifications and equipment for them) to blast baddies with to your heart's content: Iron's Arms N' Artifice adds seven new guns and a whole bunch of exotic modifications for them, as well as two hats: The Cowboy Hat and Tricorn. These will regenerate your bullets on kill and increase the damage of the first shot in your gun respectively, and are upgrades to the Leather Cap.
-Reworked Food Mechanics: With Spice of Life Valheim Edition and Stamina in combination with Farmer's Delight, your hunger is completely redefined. No longer do you eat to fill a hunger bar so you can sprint and regenerate health, but rather to give yourself more health for a limited time frame. Most regular foods will do this job relatively fine, but for the best results, spend some time in yer kitchen and cook up some delicious full-on meals! These will give even more health and for longer. To compensate, your base health is much lower - just three hearts - and sprinting now uses stamina, so I wouldn't recommend going on a journey on foot. That's what yer hoss is fer!
-New Biomes and Structures: With Dungeons and Taverns and Geophilic, you can experience Minecraft's world like never before! Finding the new structures shouldn't be much harder than gettin' yer hands on some new maps, and Nature's Compass should help you find any biome you need, so you can have the perfect place to set up home.
-Enchantment Improvements: In addition to the removal of Unbreaking and Mending, you also have new enchantments to pick from, and new ways to get 'em! The Dis-Enchanting Table will allow you to put enchants from the random items you find in the wild onto books, which can then be applied to the tools you want 'em on! Alternatively, the Enchantment Infuser will let you pick exactly what you want, just fer a steeper price. Never cuss up a storm gamblin' fer yer enchants again! Or do. If ya want to.
-Lotsa Little Things:
Sophisticated Backpacks and Traveler Toolbelts'll make carryin' yer items a smoother experience.
Corpse and Respawn Recovery Compass will ensure yer stuff sticks around when ya die and will make sure you can get back to it easily.
StepUp makes walkin' around a nicer time.
Shoulder Surfers will make third person much more pleasant.
N' More!
