Where the Willows Watch

This is a modpack I originally just made to sate a certain itch of mine for a cozy horror vibe, affectionately named 'cottage-gore'. Most horror packs are themed around jumpscares and apocalyptic scenarios - this pack is wildly different.

Survival is the goal, learning to adapt and thrive in a world that spares no punches. Seasons mark the passage of time, with weather and temperature varying between the time of year and the biome you're in. On top of temperature, you have to mind your hydration, nutrition and injuries you sustain in your journeys. Be careful of your altitude too, the air starts getting thin without the right equipment...

There's plenty of decor, crops and animal mods for those interested in the idyllic homestead lifestyle alongside automation mods like Create and Immersive Engineering for those who prefer a hands-off approach. There's a splash of magic, a couple of spooky dimensions and plenty of structures - a little something for everyone.

The horror of this mod is mostly ambient or slow burn, featuring mods like The Idol, The Anamoly, The Obsessed, The Disturbed and the Growling Man.

The Nether and the End are disabled in this pack, though there are methods to get the material from those dimensions.

This mod has only been roughly tested by me, there are bound to be issues when it comes to compatibility/shaders/textures/etc. that I haven't come across yet. If you give this modpack a try and come across any problems, let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it!
