Description

WLVSx AdventureCraft

This is a fan made modpack for the WLVSx Subscriber Server.  The pack primarily focuses on progression and adventuring.  Things will change rapidly as we figure out the best mods and configuration for our server.

Please feel free to take and modify to your hearts content, but all original works and their licensing should be respected.

HELP! It's slow!

As modded minecraft can be quite intensive, it is recommended that you at least allow 4GB of RAM for Minecraft. You can do this by going to the Cog / Settings Screen of in the bottom left of CurseForge.  You will see MineCraft in the bottom left, click on that. Scroll down until you see Java Settings. Under Allocated Memory, move the slider to 4096 MB. Depending on how much RAM you have, running at 8192 MB will give quite a lot better performance.

I also recommend adding the below arguments to the Additional Arguments section.  This will tweak the Java environment to run a bit better.

 -XX:+UseG1GC -Dsun.rmi.dgc.server.gcInterval=600000 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32

Optifine (No you're fine!)

Optifine can be used, however due to licensing you must download it directly from them.  Even if you do not use shaders, Optifine opens up a lot of doors to tweak Minecraft for performance. Sildur's Shaders are the only ones I have tested with this mod pack.

Mod List

Please note that some mod config has been changed to try to get rid of some conflicts and also make some of the vanilla grind easier. This will most likely change in future updates.
