"You against the cold" is a "pseudo-hardcore" modpack for 1.20.1 that centers around surviving in a freezing hellscape where death looms around every corner. The game is expected to be played on the Mediumcore Mode as to provide a brutal experience without fully commiting to the perma-death aspect of hardcore.

FIGHT the very cold itself, and if that doesn't get you then the armies of mobs who live in this enviroment will...

BUILD a warm and safe shelter, preferably with 5+ block thick walls and away from the raging storms. And don't forget that plants don't really enjoy being frozen...

ENGINEER complex contraptions to keep you safe, like complex production lines to aid in arming oneself or lines or artilery to aid in fighting off invasions from unwelcome individuals...
