Analytics Cookieless analytics through PostHog's EU servers, used only to see which features get used. Nothing is stored on your device, and the anonymous visitor ID resets every day. Needs your consent because usage data goes to a third party. Never used for advertising or profiling. Off by default in the EU and UK.

What's New

  • The header search now suggests projects as you type, and shows your recently viewed projects when the box is empty.
  • ModDex is now an approved Iframely provider, so project and review links show a preview card in Notion, Trello, and many other apps that use it.
    Iframely embeds of a ModDex modpack and ModDex review.
    ModDex URL embeds on Notion, powered by Iframely.
  • You now get a notification when you reach a new rank, showing what it unlocks.
  • Staff have a new ModDex staff badge and shows up in more places. The FAQ also has a new section listing the ModDex team.

Changed

  • All project meta data edits (downloads, logo, summary, etc) now fully sync every 6 hours, with the only exception being CurseForge descriptions since CF doesn't have a bulk endpoint for descriptions. CF descriptions still resync for every file release as well as on a longer schedule.
  • Improved the cookie consent banner, now a smaller card in the corner with improved accessibility.
  • For Pack Comparison, a pack listed on both platforms can now be compared on either its CurseForge or Modrinth mod list.
  • Improved page performance for catalog search, Pack Comparison, Stats, the reviews page, and the Dependents tab.
