Description
Academy Chat QOL
Academy Chat QOL is a client-side Fabric mod that improves the Minecraft chat with channels, tabs, unread counters, mentions, an ignore system, and an in-game configuration menu.
Originally developed for Cobblemon Academy 2.0, the mod remains fully client-side and does not require any server-side installation.
Features
- Channel-based chat with tabs: All / General / Market / System
- Per-tab unread counters (capped at 99) and mention indicators
- Automatic message routing:
- System messages go to System
- Market messages are routed using keyword filters
- Full in-game configuration menu (1.1.0+)
- Message formatting options (timestamps, layout behavior)
- Username mention detection
- Ignore system with persistent storage
- Right-click context menu on chat messages:
- Ignore player
- Copy message
/tpa <player>,/msg <player>
- Emoji panel with search (requires Emojiful)
- Translations: English and French
Commands
/acq ignore <player>
/acq unignore <player>
Notes: Auto-suggestions are available for already ignored players
Compatibility

- ChatPlus: incompatible
SAFE TO UPDATE
Version 1.1.0 was tested on the Cobblemon Academy 2.0 server version 2.3.0 and confirmed to work.
