Mod
Actually Additions: Tiers
No reviews yet
Adds Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite Display Stands for Actually Additions' Empowerer. Up to 100× the buffer and input rate of the stock stand. Drop-in replacements, configurable. Fixes late-game Empowering throughput bottlenecks.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Actually Additons: Tiers
The bottleneck
The Empowerer in Actually Additions takes a recipe's total energy cost, divides it by the recipe's time, and asks each of the four Display Stands for that much energy every tick. For most recipes that's fine. A few hundred FE/tick is well within what a single power cable can push. But late-game recipes (and pack-dev recipes balanced for end-of-progression content) often demand thousands of FE per tick per stand. The stock Display Stand only accepts 1,000 FE/tick of input, no matter how much cable you have feeding it. So the buffer drains, the cable can't refill it fast enough, and your Empowerer sits there flashing fireworks at 5% speed.
This mod fixes that, without touching the Empowerer or AA's recipes.
What it does
Adds four tiered Display Stand blocks. Place them where you'd place a normal Display Stand. The Empowerer recognizes them automatically and uses them like any other stand. Each one stores more energy and accepts faster input than the one below it.
You don't have to use all four of the same tier around an Empowerer. If one of your stands is the choke point and the others are fine, you can replace just that one.
Tier values
| Tier | Buffer (FE) | Input rate (FE/tick) | Multiplier vs stock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stock Display Stand | 80,000 | 1,000 | 1× |
| Iron Display Stand | 400,000 | 5,000 | 5× |
| Gold Display Stand | 1,000,000 | 15,000 | 12.5× / 15× |
| Diamond Display Stand | 4,000,000 | 40,000 | 50× / 40× |
| Netherite Display Stand | 8,000,000 | 100,000 | 100× |
These are the defaults. Pack devs can override every value in the server config.
Configuration
Open config/aatiers-server.toml after running the pack once. You'll see a [tiers] section with one subsection per tier:
[tiers.diamond]
capacity = 4000000
maxInput = 40000
Change the numbers, reload the world, and the new values take effect. The capacity is the maximum FE the stand can hold; maxInput is how fast it accepts energy from connected cables (per tick).
Compatibility
- Requires Actually Additions (1.3.x or newer) for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge.
Credits
Built on top of Actually Additions. All the heavy lifting is theirs: the Display Stand block entity, the Empowerer recipe system, the energy storage component, the renderer. This mod just adds the higher-capacity variants.
