Description

A compatibility addon for Create: Addictives that adds a genuine long-term addiction and withdrawal system on top of the base mod's existing highs.

Seven substances — heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, meth, crack, MDMA, and nicotine — now build up real dependency over repeated use. Cross the threshold, and when the high wears off you're hit with withdrawal: a harsh, long-lasting debuff (30–60 real minutes) with drug-specific effects — nausea, mining fatigue, hunger drain, weakened combat stats. It clears naturally over time, or immediately if you use again.

Once addicted, using the drug again grants a genuinely strong bonus effect on top of the normal high:

  • Numb (Heroin) — Massive armor boost and complete fall damage immunity, but no sprinting.
  • Flatline (Fentanyl) — Even heavier armor plus regeneration, at the cost of slowed movement. The tankiest state in the mod.
  • Overdrive (Cocaine) — Big movement and attack speed — clean, fast, aggressive.
  • Tweaking (Meth) — Speed, attack speed, and real attack damage together, with periodic haste and jump bursts.
  • Rush (Crack) — A massive, short-lived attack damage spike with unpredictable extra pulses. High risk, high reward.
  • Euphoria (MDMA) — Speed boost plus a glowing outline on everyone nearby.
  • Munchies (Weed) — Full hunger/saturation restore, mild regen, and a jump boost.
  • Steady Hands (Nicotine) — Small, reliable attack speed and damage boosts.
  • Third Eye (Psychedelics) — A wide glowing-outline radius on nearby ores, mobs, and players — a temporary mini-ESP, themed as "seeing things."

Weed and psychedelics (LSD, shrooms, DMT) are intentionally excluded from withdrawal — mild tolerance still unlocks their bonus, but there's no debuff when it wears off, reflecting a real difference in dependency risk from the harder substances.

All custom icons and effects are original work — no assets reused from the base mod.

Requires: Create: Addictives (3.1.5+)
