BACAP Advancement Count

BACAP Advancement Count adds a simple point system to BlazeandCave’s Advancements Pack (BACAP), making advancement progression easier to track and giving players another reason to complete challenges.

Instead of every advancement feeling the same, advancements are given different point values depending on their difficulty and category.

🏆 Point System

Advancements use the following values:

  • 🟩 Task — 1 Point
  • 🟦 Goal — 2 Points
  • 🟪 Challenge — 5 Points

Harder advancements are worth more points, so players who complete more difficult challenges can build a higher overall score.

🎮 Why Use It?

BACAP contains a large amount of advancements, but Minecraft normally does not give players an easy way to compare their overall advancement progress.

This datapack turns those advancements into a simple progression system.

It can be used to:

  • Compete with friends for the highest advancement score
  • Track player progression on an SMP
  • Create advancement competitions or events
  • Give players more reasons to explore and complete difficult challenges
  • Make BACAP progression easier to follow through the TAB list

📦 Installation

  1. Download BACAP Advancement Count.
  2. Download and install BlazeandCave’s Advancements Pack (BACAP) from Modrinth.
  3. Place both ZIP files inside your world's datapacks folder.
  4. Start/restart the server or run /reload.

Designed for Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11.

Once BACAP is installed alongside this datapack, advancements will automatically use the custom point system and your total advancement points will appear beside your name in the TAB list.
