Description

Advancement Overhaul

Advancement Overhaul completely redesigns Minecraft’s advancement interface, replacing the small and cluttered vanilla window with Adventure Atlas—a clean, modern, full-screen dashboard built to make exploring your progress easier and more enjoyable.

Whether you are searching for a specific advancement, deciding what to complete next, or reviewing everything you have already achieved, Adventure Atlas presents your journey in a much clearer and more organised way.

Features

A completely redesigned advancement screen

Browse Minecraft’s existing advancements through a polished, responsive interface with clearer navigation, readable advancement cards, progress bars, descriptions, requirements, and category information.

Powerful advancement search

Quickly search for advancements using their:

  • Name
  • Description
  • Technical ID

Press Ctrl + F to jump directly to the search bar. You can stop typing by pressing Enter or clicking elsewhere on the screen.

Helpful sorting options

Sort your advancement list by:

  • Recommended Next Step – prioritises useful unfinished advancements based on your current progress
  • Progress – orders advancements by completion percentage
  • Name – sorts everything alphabetically

Compact and detailed layouts

Choose how much information each advancement card displays:

  • Detailed View shows titles, descriptions, progress, and status information.
  • Compact View fits more advancements on the screen while keeping the important details visible.

Progress filters

Instantly filter your advancement list to show:

  • All advancements
  • Active advancements
  • Completed advancements
  • Locked or unstarted advancements

Recent completion history

Open the compact Recent Trail panel to review your latest advancement completions from the current play session.

Colour themes and accessibility presets

Personalise Adventure Atlas with multiple visual themes:

  • Atlas
  • Amethyst
  • Sunset
  • High Contrast
  • Protanopia
  • Deuteranopia
  • Tritanopia

The accessibility presets use alternative colour combinations to make advancement states easier to distinguish.

Adjustable interface scale

Use the permanently visible slider at the bottom of the advancement screen to adjust the interface scale from 0 to 100.

The default value is 50, and your chosen scale is saved between sessions.

Animated completion celebrations

Completing an advancement can trigger a compact animated banner with sparkles and colours based on whether you completed an Advancement, Goal, or Challenge.

Celebration animations and sounds can be enabled or disabled independently.

Responsive interface

Adventure Atlas automatically adapts to different window sizes, resolutions, Minecraft GUI scales, and Advancement Overhaul scale settings.

Client-side only

Advancement Overhaul only changes how advancements are displayed. It does not modify advancement requirements, progression, rewards, or server data.

The mod can be used on compatible multiplayer servers without requiring the server owner or other players to install it.

Compatibility

  • Minecraft: 1.21.1
  • Mod loader: NeoForge
  • Installation side: Client only
  • Java: Java 21
