About

Description

Give weapons, tools, armor, sheilds and mobs random unique names to help every find feel more special.

Use our out-of-the-box names, or customize it with your own data to generate names relevant to your game - or both!

1 - Reaper Thomas, Lord of Love. Devourer of gods.
2 - Anna Beheader, Queen of Plagues, Bone Crushing Carver
3 - Storm Soul, Devourer of Men, Silencer, Butcher of the Beast.
4 - Bert
5 - Kalvin, Bringer of Happiness.

I will not go on to name all 163,233,690,879,410,788,356,720 possible combinations currently included, I'm sure you're starting to get the picture.

Names are smart, taking into consideration the items material, function and shape.

The system is fully customizable, allowing you to add your own data into the generation, or build your own naming systems, picking what gets names and weights.

By defualt
30% chance unenchanted items get names
60% chance enchanted items get names
5% passive mobs get names
100% villagers get names
 - all values customizable

The data is broken down into categories 33 categories, that can be expanded or disabled as needed for your game, grouped into Structural, Generic flavour & Thematic.See the full da[data organisation](https://github.com/bh679/adventureitemnames-mc/wiki/Data-Organization)

The system was original designed for a VR indy game [Dungeon Train VR](https://brennanhatton.itch.io/dungeontrain/devlog/142946/021-the-apeiron-enchiridion),
and ported to MC when the VR game was ported to a MC mode - [Dungeon Train MC](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/dungeon-train)  and is actively being developed with support. I usually implment change requests in 48 hours.
