The best of every metal.

Iron, gold and diamond were only the beginning. Age of Alloys sends you digging for new metals, melting them in a roaring foundry and forging alloys that no vanilla ore can match, with brand new tools, weapons and armor to show for it.

Dig

Tin, aluminum, magnesium and manganese hide in stone and deepslate across the world. Some lie close to the surface, others deep underground: finding them all is part of the journey.

Melt and mix

Build the alloy foundry, feed it metals and fuel, and watch the flame rise. The more advanced the alloy, the hotter the fuel it needs: a simple fire for the first, something far fiercer for the last.

• Bronze: sturdy, the reliable workhorse of the mid-game.
• Duralumin: light and quick to dig with, but it wears out fast.
• Steel: the finest of them all, just below diamond.

Forge

Every alloy gives you its own pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe and sword, and a full set of armor. Each one has its own feel, so choosing your gear is a real decision.

Beta: the mod can already be played from the first ore to the last piece of armor, but it is still being tested: expect rough edges. More is planned, such as compatibility with other mods, advancements and a recipe book for the foundry.
